The house is generally recognized as the place where Betsy Ross lived when she may have made the first American Flag. The house is located, just blocks from Independence Hall . The house was built about 1740 and consists of 2-1/2 floors and nine rooms.  Ross rented the home between 1773 and 1786 where she and her husband, John Ross, lived here and ran their upholstery business.  .The property also includes a courtyard area.  Admission: $3. Open: Apr.-Sept., daily 10-5; Oct.-Mar., Tues.-Sun 10-5.
